Whydo grils love Flowers?

I don't really like flowers all that much. They all die in a couple days, and you're left having to throw these things that cost good ammounts of money away. I hate it. Sometimes when I do get them I'll turn them upside down, dry them out, and put them into a book.. But other than that I just dont like them.
