Human and Nature

"Even with all our technology and the inventions that make modern life so much easier than it once was, it takes just one big natural disaster to wipe all that away and remind us that, here on Earth, we're still at the mercy of nature," Neil deGrasse Tyson once said, and I agree with him. I know for a fact that natural disasters are one of the most prevalent problems in the world. And what is the main cause of them? Most of the people that I know will undoubtedly say that it's because of human activities. It is true that a natural disaster is a natural process, but with the illegal things that people are doing, it is becoming more and more widespread. We, humans, want to be showered with comfort and riches, and sometimes, we don't even bother to care for the people who are affected by what we do. We only realize the consequences once we experience the disaster itself. Furthermore, we should always be aware that our actions pose a threat to our planet. The only thing we should always keep in mind is to take some precautions in what we're doing because who knows? Maybe there will come a time when our beautiful world is too catastrophic to be lived in.

If possible, I just want to live in the ancient times. I always fantasy life about the ancient time, taste the tea, read books, paint, play nature all around. That may be very pleased.

yup! i agree! those were the days that the people around you are really nice..now, you can't just go out even in the daylight cuz even at that time of day you aren't safe from disasters and people who would possibly steal from you, rape you or murder you with an unclear reason. *sigh*

You have exciting views about fantasizing living in the long, long ago. This is not something I have ever thought about until reading your comment. Thanks for expanding my thoughts to a place in the future, going back to ancient times.

I don't think so, some people only care about what's going to benefit them.

Nature is an art of God and we have no right to deform it.There is no grotesque in nature. Sweet is the love that nature provides. Nature never betrays the heart that loves her. Thanks

Hmm, true but as people who notice this ,and many others out there that still do, we would never give a damn if those who don't care continue to do so..if u notice that something's gone wrong then u can't just wait for other people cuz in all honesty ur one of that people..the difference is that u care

Yes, I agree with the fact that natural disasters are caused by "inhuman" human activities, jeopardizing this wonderful gift given by our Heavenly Father. This, I can assure that this is the main reason but not the only one. There are others like time that leads to modernization, weather...countless factors that we are unable to control. But as mere humans we cannot let these worsen Mother Nature. We should be able to be aware of these and just remind ourselves that there will be a time that the world will end. We should not let this or anything stop us to make good with our time that is left here. To be more clear with my point, we also cannot let our recklessness and ignorance destroy our forests, lakes, rivers, our ozone layer, the natural habitat of animals and many others that could lead to the destruction of our earth, and of the existence of the human race as well. I wish I could tell the other people out there though that this world may be nearing it's end but there's still time to change...to change for the good, the best of what we can to preserve and keep balance. Besides, we don't just use our home, earth, for own own end but we also borrow it from our offspring. Good afternoon to everyone!! XD
