Behold the shiny monkey...

Ever wonder about most movies that start out with someone taking some else's, let's say shiny monkey, if this a reference to an Indiana Jones movie I'm not, I'm just writing about why people feel the urge to take something away from someone else. And don't tell me it's in man's nature, if we want something and are willing to go through what it takes, then we know the difference between right and wrong. So what is it that compels us to do such acts: survival, greed, the thrill, what? I find myself at a stage in life where more is to much and less is good. A streamlined life is a simple life I believe. Simple is good, I'm sure my friends in different parts f the world could agree, or am I just trying to live a dream life. Next time you reach for that third cheeseburger, extra large coffee something, or more than one sex partner, ask yourself, do I really want this or do I need it to survive? Sure it may cause you to feel conflicted, but maybe lead you along a different path.

Some people seem to get a high from it, but I don't see how. Where's the challenge? Something gained that easily is boring.
