WHY DO THE LIARS EMPHASISE ON TRUTH SO MUCH ?

I have never come in contact with a truthful person but I have seen many persons who say that They never tell a lie.It is beyond my understanding that
Parents generally teach their children to speak truth but they always tell a lie with their neighbours and other persons.I think the children of today are wise enough to understand the hypocrisy of their parents. Today the children need models not the preachers.
In schools big lessons of morality are taught to the children but in reality even the teachers do not work honestly and speak the truth.FIRST WE SHOULD FOLLOW THEN ONLY THEN WE HAVE RIGHT TO PREACH AND TEACH OTHERWISE WE ARE LIKE DRUMS THAT SOUND MUCH BUT FROM WITHIN IT IS EMPTY AND OUR PREACHINGS CAN NOT EFFECT OTHERS UNTIL WE OURSELVES FOLLOW THOSE PREACHINGS.
The elders make many false excuses with other persons before the very eyes of the children. By what right we can teach our children ? If we are not able to follow our own words.

On one hand, I do agree with your point,but on the other hand, I also understand why people lie. First, they maybe tell a white lie to comfort the feeling of the person. Second, they maybe tell a lie to protect themselves away from trouble,because not everyone in the world can be 100% trusted.So, I think this question is not simply about morality,it should be argued under some certain circumstance.

Hollow words do not give any inspiration to anybody.Example is always better than precept.
The language of truth is unadorned and always simple.

Yes,Everything is unpredictable and nothing is permanent in the world.If a judge judges himself truely, he will be in jail.Nobody is milk white in the world.

Thanks for your article.What you say are absolutely right.But I can't agree with you to some extents.I'm convinced that no one can avoid lying.Some people lie for themselves,however some people lie for other's good.As for me,I can't say I will never lie to anyone.what I can guarantee I will not hurt anyone when I'm lying.

Moms mostly tell a lie to frighten the children and say that there is a bug bear in the fire so that the children should avoid "Burning", that lie is not lie but a truth because it is told to save the children from fire.I am not saying that lie is always bad but if you tell it to cheat someone, it is wrong. Who really love someone, never tell a lie.
