Love my coffee, but why is it bitter?

Lately I've noticed the more I drink coffee (at home, not a yummy sweet one made at a drive through), the more bitter it tastes. I only put cream in my coffee and would prefer not to have to add some kind of sweetener to take the bitter away. Any suggestions? By the way, my coffee comes from a Keurig.
