The first evil present in egotist is that he speaks more than enough and gives no time to others to speak. It is his thinking that he is above all the ordinary persons. IT TAKES A GREAT DEAL OF ELEVATION OF THOUGHT TO PRODUCE A VERY LITTLE ELEVATION OF LIFE. ACCORDING TO ME THE MORE WE SPEAK HIGH OF OURSELVES THE MORE DEGRADED WE ARE FELT BY THE PEOPLE EVEN IF THEY SAY NOTHING ON OUR FACE. ELOQUENCE IS THE MISTRESS OF ALL TALENTS AND EGO KILLS THE TALENT WE HAVE.THE ELOQUENCE CONSISTS IN SAYING ALL THAT IS PROPER AND NOTHING MORE.
