How many of us really loved studying in our young age? I would say something around a few and for those people we had a name “GEEKS”. Oh you remember the ones who know everything. Oh those were good times, with nothing to worry about right? But don’t we sometimes look back and regret too about those days, not trying at all to learn. Well I would say we don’t have to be blamed if we didn’t like to study at that young age. But if that continues when we get older, I would say then it is a problem on which have to be blamed on ourselves. The most common excuse we say and even I still use it often is “Lots of great people are dropouts at least I’m progressing”. Well that is true but what we don’t know is that there are in fact a huge number of dropouts who don’t even have the courage to live their life (I don’t mean they commit suicide but lose faith). What these people and we don’t realize is that these “great people” who dropped out succeed because they love and respect what they do. These “great people” had also gone through failures but they dusted themselves and found a way to keep going, which is their secret. What I’m says is when we are older why do some of us still continue not to study or get educated, there is no excuse if we don’t. Don’t blame the god or our family or our circumstances but ourselves. Look at the world now, isn’t it filled with places from which we could learn and have fun at the same time. The development of internet has been so big that we don’t even need to spend much too gain from it, in fact we could earn in today’s world by just helping ourselves, and what more do we need. I’m not saying go to school or be a spelling bee champion. I’m just saying to learn, read and educate ourselves. It’s ever too late. Start using our heads, even for small things. Just imagine how you could do a thing that you do, differently. Be creative. For every issue in the world have our own prospective. Be imaginative. Most importantly share what you learn, from the books as well as from your life. Education is the best way of understanding a person and most of all understanding ourselves. So, from today let this be our challenge to be called a “GEEK” like the old times when we use to call others. And try to know everything. Smarter people means smarter world!
