HE THAT WILL NOT REFLECT IS A RUINED MAN. They only babble who practice not reflection.I have met many persons who are very much fond of reading books but I have not seen even a few persons to reflect on what they read.A man may as well expect to grow stronger by always eating as wiser by always reading. According to me a page digested is better than a volume hurriedly read.Reflection to the mind is what exercise to the body.Reading should be in proportion to reflecting and reflecting in propotion to reading. The real wise man reads both books and life itself.It is a mental suicide if one has the time to read the books and has no time for reflection. EDUCATION HAS PRODUCED A VAST POPULATION ABLE TO READ, BUT UNABLE TO DISTINGUISH WHAT IS WORTH READING.
