When we are in our youth we have a lot of energy which can turn impossible things into a possibility which was unimaginable. But for doing such things we need to understand the basic cells for our living. We need to develop what is known as scholastic knowledge which would help us in future to tackle problems and also motivate us. Then the questions arises from where do we develop such scholastic aptitude..?? Scholastic by literal definitions means knowledge which is learned by scholars. Then who are scholars?? Scholars are the people who tend to spend their entire life in learning something new or continuously studying about a particular field of education. A scholar in any field is the expert from who you can ask as many questions as possible and he would reply about your questions by using his learned knowledge and the wisdom that he has gained through books or experiments or by personal experiences. Thus from above explanation it becomes clear that for developing scholastic aptitude you need to read as much as possible and increase the database of you knowledge. Reading as said by many experts is very important in order to learn about the bits and bytes of our whole universe. But the next important question is what to read or how to select the authors. Well you can’t exactly judge a book but you can select the type of genre that you want to read and there are best reading books in every genre. After discussing all this and coming back to the topic i.e. 4 books by Indian Authors that should definitely be read in your youth are listed below. The below mentioned books are covering almost every genre i.e. romance, comedy, mystery, history, etc. 1. The Rozabal Line , Chanakya’s Chant and The Krishna Key – by Ashwin Sanghi The readers who are interested in learning a little history with a mixture of mystery should definitely consider this three book series. Starting from Rozabal Line this book is related to history of The Bible and Lord Jesus Christ and with the contradictory topic of the death of the Lord. Then Chanakya’s Chant would bring you back to India and would help you understand the various policies of the greatest or the cleverest minister and administrator Chanakya or otherwise known as Kautilya or Vishnugupta. The Krishna key would take you to the time of The Mahabharata where the diiferents tactics used by Lord Krishna are described. These books are not mere history books detailing you about the events of history in particular but these are mystery stories where a storyline in addition to the history events is simultaneously being covered. Thus the series provide you a combined package of both history and mystery. 2. Five Point Someone , The 3 Mistakes of My Life and Revolution 2020 – by Chetan Bhagat Chetan Bhagat is an author whose works have been read by almost everyone so it is quite evident to mention him in the list. His books are a collection of almost all the genres starting from romance, comedy to tragedy. The special mention of the three books is because they not only provide the users an enjoyment leisure but also provide them a moral or a lesson which should be learnt by everyone but is ignored. Be it the Indian education system or the generation gap between the children and the parents all is covered is his works. 5 point someone provides an on look with the things related to the prestigious engineering institutions, The 3 Mistakes of My Life would teach you a good lesson of how friendship can cross all boundaries and Revolution 2020 points out to the loopholes of the education system as well the corruption involved in the DNA of our Government. Other books written by the same author that are 2 States and One Night at the Call Center would also help you develop a thinking. The characters involved would relate to you in some or the other way and thus you would be keen to know what would happen next. Thus, these series of books are both an entertainment and a lesson learning knowledge sources. 3. Discovery of India—by Jawaharlal Nehru Want to learn about India’s past and how India evolved to the present day scenarios this is the best book to be considered. Written by the first Prime Minister of Independent India Jawaharlal Nehru during his imprisonment in Ahmednagar Fort located in Maharashtra, he wrote the book detailing about each and every event that has happened in the past before 1947. Analysing about the faults to praising about the good decisions all is mentioned in this detailed description of how really one can discover India. The book also would help you known about the life of the author himself and how he managed himself at various situations. However, the book requires serious reading as history of India is a collection of quite an interesting list of events. 4. Life is what you make it – by Preeti Shenoy Life is a ride of a roller coaster that would give you many thrills and these thrills are exactly what you can feel while reading this book. Though the author has also written 4 other books but specially this one would relate to all the youth who are managing their college with friendship, love, parental pressures and the constant feeling of performing well. As the title of the book suggests it will make you realise that how a series of events of your own doing would end up where you are at present. The story broadly covers the life of girl who goes through all the phases that a young college student would have gone thus relating to the youth. This story teaches an important morale that at the end there is nobody to blame it is you only who is responsible for the present situation. Though there are many great authors with their great pieces of work and one cannot judge all but the above given list are novels out of which mostly would have been already read by you is therefore worth mentioning. Books are best friends as they teach us many things, they make us laugh and cry and hence form a major part of our lives. Spare some of your precious time and try to read something and then the world of books would be the one you would really enjoy…. Happy Reading……!!!!
