How many remember going to a drive-in movie? what was your favorite part of it?

I loved going to the drive in when I was a kid. I liked sitting in the car watching the movie or sitting on top of the hood watching it, it was so much fun. We actually still have one open about 45 mins from where I live

Oh wow!! You are really trying to get us to show our ages, arent you? haha But yes, I do remember going to drive in movies. When I was little, it was with my parents, and I just enjoyed the experience of getting out of the house, and seeing movies on that HUGE screen, especially the cartoons. When I was in high school, I loved going on dates to the drive in for much DIFFERENT reasons hehehe

lol..me too! Of course, the sound quality from those half-broken speakers was lousy, but wasn't it just wonderful to go and experience it? I sure wish I had the money, I'd open one up so that others like us could re-experience the whole thing!...thanks for sharing!

i've never been to one but it makes me think of the film "Grease"
