Chinese Zodiac The Chinese zodiac features 12 animals in the sequence of Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Sheep, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Pig. They cycle every 12 years, and each year is named after an animal. For example, 2015 is a year of the Goat. Many Chinese believe their fates are tied to the zodiac symbols in the year in which they were born. Date of Chinese New Year 2015 Spring Festival, also known as Chinese New Year, is the most important traditional festival in China. It begins on the first day of the first lunar month (usually in late January or early February) and ends on the 15th day of the first lunar month (Lantern Festival). Date of Chinese New Year this year: Feb.18, 2015 (Chinese New Year's Eve) to Mar. 5, 2015 (Lantern Festival) I wish you all “Gong Xi Fa Chai” (Good luck and make a lot of money)! Hope you all enjoy my Chinese New Year greeting!
