ARE WE LEARNING TODAY WHAT WE SHOULD LEARN? / myLot

The first and the foremost duty of a man is to learn humanity. Are we really learning how to be a real human being or not. Real education consists in drawing the best of yourself, what better book can there be than the book of humanity.Are we really teaching this? The second important thing is humility because this is the only thing that makes us great.We come nearest to the great when we are great in humility. The third thing is to give up pride because pride ends in destruction, humility ends in honour. The forth thing is patience that is more effective than penance. The lust is the fifth thing that is the sign of retrogression instead of progress.No disease is more killing than lust. If we are sending our children but they are not learning these important things, it is useless to send them to costly schools.

I have to agree with humility, it's sad really what people are taught in society today. All the more we see violence, teen pregnancy, stealing, murdering, raping, the list goes on and one. I do believe it's because of what we are taught as young children, how we are believed to grow up.

Yes, you are very right, Life is a river, virtue is the bathing place, truth is its water, moral convictions are its banks, mercy is its wave, in such a river we should bathe. We really need to learn.
