Probably the best footballer we've seen. And he was so comfortable in manuevring the ball and had achieved mastety. Although tainted by the (in)famous head butt to materazzi in world cup finals. But still his greatness cannot be challenged by anyone in soccer fraternity

I also feel zidane is best among the lot, even though he exited the international scene in an undesirable fashion, in terms of play and skills he stands tall among others in the modern era. He will always be remembered for his skills rather than his head-butting incident.
