What Happened After Mylot?

Now that Mylot is back, I would like to catch up with the people and friends that I have met thru Mylot.
I wonder what made them busy or what happened to them after Mylot took a rest.
As for me, there are a lot of things that happened after Mylot. I just want to share those things to the Mylot community.
1. I now have two adorable kids. Yup, I am a mother of two adorable boys and everyday I grow more deeply in love with them.
2. I am living the dream of being a WAHM (work-at-home-mom). Yes, after 7 years of dreaming of working online, I am finally living and enjoying the dream. I quit my job last January and at present I am juggling several online jobs where I get paid lucratively monthly. The great thing about it is that I enjoy what I do, pursue my passion in writing and spend every second of the day seeing and being with my kids.
I may not have a lot of stories to share since Mylot took its hiatus but the two things I have mentioned above are significant things that happened in my life since Mylot took a rest. I wonder what kepy my Mylot friends busy during the website's hiatus. Hoping to hear from you guys.

It is nice to read that you have had two children since the old myLot. I guess that is really a big change from the life before. Do you find taking care of your two kids make you having lesser time to do your writing?
As for me, when the old myLot was gone, I lost my online happiness. I tried a few other sites but no one is myLot quality. That is why having the new myLot here means a lot to me.

Actually, my kids even inspire me to write and work harder. It feels like every thing I do is for their future. My kids are still toddlers so they practically sleep a lot. Instead of sleeping with them, I spend that extra quiet time writing. my older kid even pushes me to work on my laptop when he doesn't want me to join him during his play time. My eldest somehow understands that Mommy is working in front of her PC. He even hands me my stuffs like my pen, my mouse when I am working, which is so adorable and thoughtful.
I am glad that Mylot is back and you have your writing buddy back on the web. I am so glad that Mylot is back as well. It is really different from other websites.

Your description of how you interact with your children makes me smile. It is sweet. But I think you will be busier when your kids starting to crawl and to learn to walk. For most mothers, taking care of an ever moving kid is exhausting enough that when there are free times they would just prefer to play games without using any energy. You are doing very well.

@jkct02 my kids are already both walking. But with the rainy season here in the Philippines, they kind of enjoy sleeping most of the day. We get to bond at night while watching the Minions for like the 49th time already.

1. I got engaged
2. Started a book and hope to publish it by March of next year
3. Had some medical work done (blood transfusion)

Yes, I really had a good time. I am really grateful to mylot. Because about this website I have discovered a lot of opportunities in writing, met new friends and nurtured my passion for writing. Without mylot I guess I wouldn't be where I am write now in terms of my writing career.
And by the way, I also dream of publishing a book someday. Hopefully I can.

Have gotten older..retired and gained 4 more grandchildren and a great grandchild..enjoy my solitude now doing things i kept putting off..

Hello! I am also back at Mylot as soon as I hear the news. I have been busy with both offline and online work. I really never left writing as I have joined a lot of other sites but none of them have stayed long enough. Hoping Mylot would stay longer, though.

MyLot is proven paying for years, and even they stopped their revenue program last 2013 - they paid all the members. I never made a lot of money here compare with Bubblews ($1k+), but this community is really good to have!

I have not stopped earning online, i think it's literally too late for me to look for another job since I've gone past the age requirement. I swear, the only option for now would be an ofw if it wasn't any other earning sites around.. glad your still here and godbless to those two kids.

Hiya Friend!
The absence of mylot in cyberspace, if we could say it is, was a big nightmare to some of us. I know how much the site bonded us, keeping us up to date with each other. And when mylot hibernates, what left me was the other social networking to be busy with, speaking of online as I am a full time civil servant who works eight hours a day. But even when I was busy with facebook which do not gives back (of course, financially. 
), mylot never left my life. All I wish is for mylot to come back and so here she comes.

I got old and sick and now I'm doing something I swore I would never do. I'm raising my grand kids.

Hello dear, glad to meet one of old Mylotter here. You've done so many good changes in years. Having two adorable kids are awesome and I'm sure it gives you more joy. And become work at home mom is achievement. I hope to reach the level when I have stable income from online so I'm ready to be WAHM. I hope next year I can achieve it

I guess I just gave up on cash incentive sites. Here and there, I tried to look for sites like myLot but they turned into things I didn't want or just went defunct. myLot's revival couldn't've come at a better time.

Since myLot changed to this site, I have moved many times many many times. A lot of that going on. I had several health issues too. But in the end, I never stopped coming to this site to express how much I miss the old myLot and the friends here.
We had some myLotters who passed away also while the old myLot was gone.
Other than that much the same as always, just getting on in life.
Congrats on your two little ones and your ability to stay home as WHAM. big congrats!

Wow! I am happy that you are finally making money online while watching your kids grow! I joined myLot back in 2007, I was a second year college that time and know nothing about making money online. I was a bit crazy with Bubblews and made $1000+ there, and co-founded a site but it's really hard to maintain it. Anyway, going back to my passion - web designing that I have learnt by myself.
