The Suggest Button..........

Just discovered that I can suggest my own discussions to my friends. I have to scroll through my whole friends list (don't remember it being SO many!) though and that's a bit of a pain. I rather miss the old way, wherein when a friends discussion was posted you got an email alert. It's going to take longer to get people to my discussions using the new system. Anyone know any short cuts? My fingers are getting arthritic!

I saw that Suggest and was curious so i suggested all my discussions to my people/followers..hahah..only 3 decided to come on over, the rest are ignoring me..hahah as usual...so since i'm not getting any notice unless someone suggests a discussion i search in explore or people..

That does sound like kind of a pain though I didn't even realize we could suggest posts to our friends so I suppose that is a step in the right direction at least. I'll have to look into this and I'll let you know if I discover any shortcuts.

Thanks Glasser, I appreciate that. It's taking me some time to get used to all the changes on the new Lot. I really miss the old layout!

@sparkofinsanity there are a lot of things I miss from the old layout. I feel like it was so much easier to find discussions that interested me back in the day.

@sparkofinsanity I miss that ability, I never thought about it but I guess it did feel faster paced back in the old days. I'm getting use to this version of the site now but I still think it would be nice to have more options for browsing posts if nothing else.

I really don't think that I will use this feature. If people want to respond to me then they will find me somehow. I just have to learn this new Mylot one stage at a time but right now - no - it is not for me. I have to learn to upload pictures! lol

It's a cumbersome way to get your discussion noticed, that's for sure.

You will get that in the 'People' tab. I do not think we need that suggestion tab unless as you say we dig out our old posts and do that. Let me try.

I wasn't referring to old posts, but that's a thought as some of them were actually pretty good! lol
