Made a Big Pot of Soup!

It is a red peas soup or kidney beans soup. I soaked the peas from last night and now the soup is made so with sons coming in and out today they can help themselves to a bowl of it. Apart from the usual potatoes, carrots and onions and seasonings, I also added sweet potatoes and some hot peppers to give it a gentle kick. My final finishing touch was to add coconut milk and pieces of pepperoni to simmer for a while. I do not eat meat but put in this spicy sausage for the sons' to feast on.
