Ok, so it's been about 24 hours since I rebonded with the new lot.
I am not completely happy with some of the features.......especially getting discussions noticed as we no longer get alerts to our friends/followers postings, so I have come up with a solution. From now on, as I did this morning, when I first log in to the site, I (will) check out the discussions with no responses first, then I (will) check out the new discussions. In this way I keep abreast of all new discussions posted by my friends and make new friends along the way. Then I go back to my email inbox and respond to the mylot alerts that have come in over night.
Feel free to copy my brilliant strategy!

That's actually pretty much exactly what I've been doing. I continue throughout the day checking the discussions with no responses and new posts... that's actually how i found this post... go figure! Anyway, glad to have you here I've had fun chatting with you so far!

Seriously, how do you find the discussions with no responses. am wandering around in the dark here. I wish that we got alerts when our friends post. I just try to sort it all out from notifications.

@sparkofinsanity I like being able to carry on conversation about topics that interest me in ways you can't on other social media. There is things I will only share there but here it is more like sitting around shooting the ..... with friends. A different feel I guess.

Uh? OK! Just signed up yesterday. Never heard of this site. Everything is new, so I don't have to unlearn anything. Saw stuff in my eMail this morning so came over to respond. Sort of like this platform so far. Happy people read my stuff and make comments. Really like the "ka-ching $ marks" in the corner of the screen.
