Accept them for who they are Be your own person Remember conflicts are apart of Life and apart of family life Treatments and therapies such as family therapy and marriage counseling can help but not all the time Know when to draw the line Figure out what the natural consequences are Learn how to deal with the difficult people first Distance yourself from toxic relatives Don't expect your family member(s) to change Expect criticism Some issues of families can be as follows) Birth of a second child, bonding with grandparents, being a child with Lesbian, gay, Bisexual and Transgender parents or family members community service, having someone you love and miss in the military or death of a love one, step bros and sis etc

Been there, faced much of that. Just a couple of things - 1. Believe in yourself. 2. You definitely have a brain and knowledge to decide what is good and bad. Tak the good, leave the bad. 3. My personal one - avoid anything that makes you sad. If you need, cry out aloud and let it all go off. Dont keep anything within.... as at the end of it, it is not worth. Lastly, share whatever pains you might have, here (if not anywhere else). I am certain and sure, you would find something to smile and keep up.

@thesids Loved your 3rd point. That is the main base of leading a happy life. But its sad that we cannot let go of things easily.

have different idea with parents or quarrel with family is one of the bad feeling in the world. we wand get their back up ,support, but sometimes they like a brake to stop your thinking, i compelety understand what that like. cause in China,, every parents doing that to their child . protect them ,do not want they hurt, i don't think is good way to teach indepandence, But in other words, family is family , they love you and always supprise you
