I suppose I got lucky really.. my brother, sister and father all had acne, i however had cystic acne, so its deeper in the skin which usually just left me with hard lumps on my face, not very noticeable unless i touched them (which of cause i did) then they would turn into little scabs and eventually leave red scars on my face. After years of just dealing with it i decided i would go to the doctor and ask him what i can do. My doctor prescribed me epiduo gel and doxycycline capsules. six months of these two rather cheap products and my face has never been better. Only side affects, makes your skin more sensitive to sun and it can dry your skin out after showers. so just plenty of moisturizer and sunscreen, which is a smart idea anyway. go and ask your doctor if you have problematic skin.
