Should I Update My Surface Pro 3 to Windows 10?

Okay I've been told Windows 10 is great for PC's but I don't know how much that applies tablets. My concern is that it may not be user-friendly. My bigger concern is that I won't be able to restore Windows 8 again. Wish Microsoft would learn from Apple and make their OS compatible to all devices.

I have a 2-in-1 that's basically a tablet with a detachable keyboard. I haven't gotten around to upgrading it to Windows 10 yet, but I'm currently running 10 on my desktop PC. I'm finding it a lot more user-friendly than Windows 8.1 was. Granted, I really haven't played around with Windows 8.1 much... I basically use my 2-in-1 for running Swagbucks videos and entering reports when I'm on the road, so I haven't even bothered to customize settings or anything like that. It's supposed to be pretty easy to downgrade to an earlier version of Windows if you don't like 10. Personally, I'd do it just because I'm finding that I like 10 way more than 8.1.

Thanks but how can I downgrade to Windows 8.1 again without losing my files? Does that option come with installing WIndows 10?

@Madshadi There's an option in the Recovery settings that will allow you to revert back to Windows 8.1 during the month after you upgrade to Windows 10. None of your files should be affected by upgrading or downgrading, but make sure you have them all backed up just in case.

@Madshadi Well, I just went and manually upgraded to Windows 10 on the 2-in-1. It seems to work really well on the touch screen. I haven't run into any issues with it so far.
