I have been an avid reader since I was a kid. Now thanks to my kindle I can read even more. I used to go to the library and check out 4 or 5 books every week.I hardly ever buy a book.I would go broke with the amount of books I read. Now I have hundreds of books to choose from for free and usually add one or two to my kindle every day.If they are awful I delete them.If I love the book I keep it. Bookbub, booklending, lendle and amazon along with our county library keep me in reading heaven. The free books from amazon and bookbub you can keep, you can only borrow the others. So many authors, especially ones that write series, will let you read the first one or two they write for free.

I used to be a member of scribd, and then oyster. Now I am an avid fanatic of the kindle unlimited club. You can only borrow up to ten and I end up surpassing that over and over and over again. I love being able to read as much as I want.

I love my kindle. I also have a ton of books on there and I have found some new authors that I would have never found if it weren't for the kindle. There are definitely some stinkers out there but every so often you can find a gem. I do still have regular books because sometimes I want that feel and smell of a real book. For me, there is room in my life for both.

I too am an avid reader, but never got into the whole Kindle thing. So many people love them, but I guess I am old fashion, I prefer to hold an actual book in my hand, and flip the pages. I go once a month to Half Price books and buy 20-25 books. I pay $90.00 to $100.00 for them.. And then I put them in my home library.

The Kindle is definitely a wonderful invention for readers, especially those who really love to read. Not a Kindle owner. But know it's like having a portable library. Sadly, my eyesight would not make it practical. But to all the Kindle owners out there … Enjoy to your heart's content!
