Why I'm not voting for this guy (US Politics)

Quick Point: I haven't crossed all republicans off my list.... Just the following ones. BUT I do lean toward the democrats and at this point Bernie has my vote. But I wanted to open the door to you to discuss why or why not for these guys: ~Rick Santorum: He's ok with spying on US citizens, thinks a woman should have to have a baby if she is raped, he is ok with an employer discriminating on the basis of sexuality, He is against blacks and the poor, he doesn't understand how Social Security works. Main Reason: He is against the poor and I happen to BE poor. ~Mike Huckabee: (Not going to count the fact that he worked on Fox News though there is that) He lies about things that he said when there was a camera recording him. My kids know better. He thinks schools need Christian prayer, He hasn't gotten over the whole birth certificate thing, Anti-Gay to the max, Seems to think women are at fault for the actions of men and out of wedlock babies. And the main reason is.... "Legitimate Rape" Nope, say that phrase just once in a serious "I believe that" way and you are out. ~ The Donald: The main reason is that I don't think would be diplomatic enough to get any real work done and may even start discontent with foreign countries.... Heck, maybe even a civil war here. Other reasons: He sexually assaulted his wife. He's for the rich and I'm not one of those. That whole fence thing and that whole pick on minorities thing and the fact that he's rude and too immature to be a president. ~Scott Walker: Everyone should be Christian. Right to work has messed up my state and he likes it. He bends to pressure even if it means doing the wrong thing. BUT He has done a few things that are kind of against the norm for Republicans that are kinda ok... like not letting concealed weapons into the state building and trying to work out the health care thing. ~Rick Perry: Hmmm where to start? closing abortion clinics but not coming up with programs to help women and their children. trying to execute a 17 year old, He sucks at education, his state has yucky health care.... and he is way anti-choice without thinking about alternative programs. ~Rand Paul: He wants to do away with the department of education, isn't fond of blacks, He's all for companies being allowed to discriminate (FREEDOM! yelled in a proper Braveheart voice) Flat tax really isn't something I see the benefit of. He is against the Gays, Global Climate Change. ~ Marco Rubio: Isn't good with money, right off the bat. That is a problem because we aren't in the best place as a nation for that right now. Biggest reason: He wants to cut the safety nets for the poor. Even after all his time on the planet, he isn't really out there in the public brain. I don't know enough more to add to this. ~Chris Christie: Is a Mobster.... or at least comes across as one. Ok, now for some more legitimate reasons: His state is having a hell of a time recovering from the storm and he isn't helping much. He lies about important things like "I'm not going to raise taxes too high" ( I think it was not over 2% but I can't remember) Cut help to the poor and you know by now how I feel about that. His state has sucky healthcare. and and and he's a bully. He also killed minumum wage. ~Ted *shutters* Cruz: I'm a woman and he hates me, He shut down the government (with help but still), He doesn't like my healthcare but doesn't seem to have a better idea, He is against people: voted no on a bill that would help prosecute violence against women, voted against immigration reforms, and is generally not my kind of president. ~Jeb Bush: Besides the fact that I don't want a Clinton/Bush ticket? That whole failed test the welfare folks thing, that let my wife's family do the work thing, His mom told him not to run and he didn't listen... everyone should listen to their moms. Right to die with dignity, he's against. He's for right to life but not for taking care of the poor after they are alive. He's not great with money and has had several business ventures go bad, Hanging chads. ~Hillary Clinton: (Unless she is the best one left standing) Trust. Too many people have none in her or her actions. She isn't always nice to females and some of her policies aren't clear one way or the other. And then there is that whole you know... trust thing. Anyone not mentioned is because I don't know enough about them. I am looking at Ben Carson a bit more closely because a friend suggested him and because he is trying to gain some footing. I'll let you know what I think when I think it. So there are my reasons. What are your reason to vote or not vote?

At this point, I don't know. If I had to choose a declared candidate from the GOP or Dems, I'd choose Bernie. That being said Jill Stein is the only 3rd party so far and don't think she is all bad.

Politics is a nasty, scary thing. But voting for the "lesser evil" is at least voting. And if enough people vote for who they think is the best, then at least the worst has less of a chance getting in.

The last seven years have brought tons of government interference in our lives, more racism than ever, policies that hurt everyone's wallet and a turn away from democracy towards socialism.I am voting for the opposite

So who looks good to you and why? I genuinely want to know. Like I said, I am still open to voting for anyone that looks like they can and will do a good job looking out for all of us. One point on the government interference thing... in a lot of ways, we have less... the government can't tell us who we can't marry, they backed off of some of Bush's spying on the general public. And a lot of the candidates want to interfere with rights of people they deem less... like gays, immigrants, women, and the poor. And racism has always been there... the blacks couldn't marry a white until 1967, its just being caught on film more... and not the politicians fault unless they encourage it.
