Pieces of you.

I am 28 years old and I have moved over 30 times. Most of them have been as an adult. Every time I have the daunting task of going through my stuff and deciding what to keep and what to toss. Sometimes I have just gotten a bed or in the most recent case I had just gotten my first couch in... well forever! It's interesting to think that every time you move you leave pieces of you behind. Whether in the form of things or hardest of all friends you have made. So grateful for all the wonderful experiences! What is your favorite place you have lived? or your best memory?

Yikes... you have me beat. Not even close to that. I think that my all time favorite so far would be Richmond Hill. I loved it there!

@linlifeandlivin It was in Canada and it was pretty close to being the house of my dreams. And then hubby was transferred and we had to sell.

That sure is a lotta movin for one so young, seems you're on the move at least twice a year. I've moved some but not that often in my 66 years.

Yes there were a few years that I moved 3 times... and not just from one house to another but from state to state. I'm kind of over it by now... But I still get restless.. now it's just about figuring out where I want to end up

@linlifeandlivin I recall enjoying the moving when I was in my 20s but never more than once a year if that ..... you'll find that if you don't marry you'll end up wanting to be close to family.

@rebelann That's totally what it is! I move away to do my own thing but I always want to go back to where my family is it's crazy! even if I don't see them often I always want to be close... but then I want to be close to my friends so it's a constant game of tug of war

I have lived in the house that I bought twenty three years ago. I will be selling this house and moving next year.
