Ditched by own people

Any discussion on recent International political scenario can not be over without what is happening in Iraq, Libiya, Afghanistan and Syria. Particularly it is the plight of refugees uprooted from Syria and elsewhere. Many have lost their lives while escaping through sea routes and many more are left stranded to face the death in the hands of terrorists group like ISIS. It is surprising that two different sects of Islam - Shia and Sunni - fight among them selves, which has taken so many innocent lives of men, women and children. If both the sects follow the same Quran, goes to same Macca for Haj, then why they are after each other's blood. More unfortunate about the present turmoil in Syria is that non of the affluent Arab or Gulf nation has come forward to give asylum to these fleeing refugees who travel through sea route to Europe with all the risk to their lives and many have lost their lives in doing so. Unless whole Islamic world unite to fight this menace and weed out sectarian groups like ISIS, it will earn a bad name for the religion. If people under Islam fight among each other, do not expect outsiders to come to your rescue.
