Do you prefer to buy things online or in a shop?

If you have a somewhat common item that can be bought in a store or online which do you chose? I prefer to shop in the store but sometimes online is more convenient.

There are things that I would never buy online, but other items, such as books, DVDs and alike are more convenient and I see no reason not to buy them online.

I do both, I shop online and go to the store. I guess it always depends on a few things for me to which I use.

I sometimes buy books online but most things I want to see and handle to inspect them before buying, certainly anything like clothes (except T-shirts), trousers, shoes or electrical computing and photography goods.

I prefer to buy my stuff in a shop especially clothes so I could fit if it looks good on me. Most of the time dresses should be fit as it might look pretty but when worn doesn't look good.
