Well it was maybe more than a day. I was going to take my car in for a service last Friday, but it was too busy because of the holiday. And Monday they were closed. Tuesday I had to get on an early conference call. Wednesday there was another early call. Today there was kid stuff after work, and I didn't want to not have a car just in case. So I decided to do it tomorrow. Tonight, as I'm taking Cary to band practice, the dashboard lights up. At least this time it wasn't the engine light. It was "brake" and the skid light and "ABS" and one other having something to do with tires or brakes or whatever. Something with a tire sensor, so says Google. I think my car is telling me that I waited one day too long to take her in.

So, it has been a week, perhaps you had best have her looked at, to be on the safe side.

It's been a week since it was due for a 3000 mile service, not since the light went on.
