iPhone or samsung(ios or android)?

From some time I have been carrying this bug in my mind!!Why iPhone are so costly?What do they have extra in them to be so costly???
Android gives user the options to redo the atmosphere in the smartphone through developer option!!But I believe there is no option as such for for iPhone.Android phones have so many apps,you can have 3 rd party apps,delete main games and install 3rd party games.
But I believe that is not the condition in iPhones. A iPhone is like we have given you these many things and you have to take it,it's like they select our priorities.
Moreover we can route an android phone but I believe it's not the case in iPhone!!So I would like to know what they put that mysterious gold mine in the phone to sell it at such prices!!
Is it like once brand was created with phones of higher prices with a fan base so cutting price will decline its that particular phone price!!Since manufacturing a smartphone is actually very cheap!!

I think the high price tag is mostly because of the name brand.

Ya I too thought the same.We had a mocking session for few of the iphone users here as there was an debate in college!!
I think it is waste of money as for name brand you pay so much while android phones provide unlimited facilities!!

@mkrnex Exactly. I don't believe in paying so much for a phone. When you get an iPhone you have to pay for the apps and such. Android phones are much cheaper and has free apps. I have a Samsung Android phone and it works great!

@mkrnex Yes, I agree. The iPhones do have a more 'high end' look. I could never afford one though. So, I will stick with Android.

There are lots of free apps in the app store for iPhone. I know, because I have one. I used to have Android, but I just didn't like that operating system all that much. Since I starred with Apple products last year, I am staying with them. In fact, I just preordered the new iPhone coming out later this month. I only pay $100 down, and I pay for the phone in monthly installments.

@rosekiss ya everyone have their likes and dislikes.
What I feel is android are for creative ones who wants set their own atmosphere,change the settings,experiment.
While apple is for stay same people!!Who don't want change and keep their wishes in apple's hand...!!

@mkrnex Only,the 64gb and 128 gb phones have a down payment. The 54gb is $100, and the 128 gb is $200/ I do pay it, however, I do think the phones are overly priced, but then they are made with quality materials, so they are sturdy. I love the Appl products a lot.

iPhone is a brand that came in to end BlackBerry reign in smartphone world, and because it did it successfully the only way to remain on top is by pricing. They do this knowing that people prefer expensive brands over cheaper ones. Even though Samsung and other Android Os manufacturers have been trying to take over this field, still they have to convince 'class' people to see that Apple is playing with their money. Maybe the outer covering and durability of iPhones makes them that expensive.

nokia gives the best durability my friend.If durability was taken into consideration then nokia wouldn't have gone out of sale.
Apple's product are stylish.I get their strategy if they lower the price there will be no difference between samsung and apple as both are cheap so they would choose the brand with more apps and services.
So apple is keeping their price high playing with people's ego and pride of high price,elite class.I honestly believe it's not worth it!!As the services they provide will be provided with a android phone of very old version ,half or quarter their rate..lol
