A side-splittingly funny martial arts parody short movie made in Sweden in 2015 with money gained through internet crowd-sourcing resources. This is a deeply silly (intentionally) comedy about a super-cop with extreme martial arts skills due to having been bitten by a cobra at exactly the same time as being struck by lightning. He finds that he has to save the 1980’s by getting his hacker friend to send him back in time to kill Hitler (the Kung Fuhrer). This sends up everything from Miami Vice to superhero movies with a Hot Shots / Airplane style gag-rate. Hitler fires bullets down a phone and they kill people on the other end of the line. A dinosaur in a police uniform is naturally called Tricerocop. There is a cameo by David Hasselhoff, who provides the theme music too. The 30 minute short film, available in full on Youtube was a sensation at Cannes, and could lead the makers to greater productions in future. I hope so.
