I am planning to make my own website

Since i am unemployed, i decide to make my own website to practice my programming skills. I am quite excited to make it it's going to be about movies, series and music review can anyone who owns/runs a website share tips? thanks

That sounds like a great idea! I used to own a website but didn't have time to maintain it so I sold it to a friend. My suggestion: don't rush to monetize your site until you have sufficient content and good traffic coming in. I know some would disagree with me, but I consider that one of the greatest lessons I learned.

i haven't even started it yet since i think i need to learn bootstrap and angularjs.. but my main purpose isn't to earn money from it though.. just practice my programming skills for now
