Last night, I had a bad dream. The setting was just the same and I almost believe that it was true. I was in bed just the way I was actually lying facing the right side of the room, when suddenly somebody was at my back and held me in a way that I could not move. I tried to move but I can't so I started reciting the Lord's Prayer. After I recited it in full for three (3) times, I finally moved. Thanks God it was just a dream.

I have had so many nightmares, especially during my teen years when I was growing. I remember all of my deaths quite vividly. Hundreds of deaths in gruesome nightmares. It's hard to say you've gotten a good night's sleep when you were killed so many times. At least you managed to survive your ordeal.

@pahak627 It might be you are experiencing dream paralysis and are somewhat conscious of it. Apparently it happens when we enter a certain state of dreams, where if you were to wake up at that point you really can't move.

@OneOfMany I guess you are right. So that is the actual term for it, dream paralysis . That is new to me. Thanks for sharing that to me.

@pahak627 It might be 'sleep paralysis', but it happens during dreams. In a way that stops us from hurting ourselves.
