They called off the search...

and it is sure sad. I had written(link below) on him last week-- about Lucas who had gone hiking 11 days ago and hasn't been seen since. They even sent out the National Guard last week and sent drones into the areas they couldn't get to. Nothing. He is an expert hiker but I don't know how experienced he is in living out in the elements for extended periods of time.
The sheriff said today they have called off the search. He said they have exhausted all their options. His family sent out a note thanking everyone that had helped. It is sure sad.
On Saturday morning, a week ago, a young man named Lucas Robinson took off from his home to do some hiking. He has done long endurance hiking ll of his life so...

I got a chill that said 'he was devoured'. By what, I don't know, but that's what came across my radar. Hopefully it's not true, but...

@celticeagle Yes. But that's open to interpretation. It could mean a mountain lion, bear or even the earth.

@celticeagle I can not imagine nor do I want to imagine what it would feel like :( Such a tough time for them right now. No closure.

That is so sad. I hope they will find him and maybe his parents can do a fund to help look for him. I hope they don't just totally give up on finding their son

sad when you hear of cases like this..the only way to keep it going is the family doing there own searches..
