What do you take for granted the most?

When I was a teenager. I took for granted my parents. I didn't understand that they are not perfect but love me. I am older, see things clearly. I am trying to be a good daughter as long as I can. They made a lot of mistakes how they raised me. I know they didn't mean it. They just don't know what is right or wrong sometimes. I forgive them because at the end of the day, I know they want the best thing for me.

My regrets in life are often those that pertain to how I treated my parents. I was a real jerk. And like you, was an ingrate. I have learned from my mistakes, but the scars I caused will never heal. For that, I am really sorry for what I caused them.
