My blog is focused on ways to become financially free. One of the common step is to cut down your expenses. I have come across different websites that discusses this subject, however, almost all of them are not fully applicable to an ordinary Filipino. So this is a bit like an informal survey specially for Filipinos (but other nationalities are free to participate as well). How do you cut your personal monthly expenses?

A good beginning is a simple list of things you have to pay for. Then a list of things you need to buy. Then a list of things you pay for or buy which you don't need. You can start there and cut out all the unnecessry stuff. Then find cheaper suppliers of elecricity etc.

Usually, i get advice to make a lustvof expenses, but your suggestion is a bit more specific.namely, make a list first of the necessary expenses then the notvso necessary ones. Thats the first step indeed. Thanks

@jrlcentral You can tell me after, say, two months if my idea has worked.

@MALUSE I sure will. I'll also share the idea to some friends. The question was not just for me actually. I have some friends who can't seem to live within their salaries. I want to help them find a way. For me, though I have already started to minimize my expenses, I know I can still save some more.

I control my cravings. It's one aspect of me that makes me spend out of my budget .
