Do You Prefer Movie Theaters or Home Viewing?

I find that for action movies, I'd much prefer to watch it on a big screen in the theater. But for any other genre (romantic comedy, thriller, drama) I don't mind waiting to rent it and watching at home. Is anyone partial to movie theaters vs home viewing or vice versa?

I prefer to watch movies in the theater if I am with my friends. However, if I am alone with my husband, I prefer to watch it at home. If I missed something, I can hit pause and rewind some part.

I actually enjoy inviting friends to my house for a movie night. We end up rewinding a lot cuz we make a lot of jokes but I still love it.

Much prefer home viewing. At home we can do what we want.

Yeah, I like being able to pause the movie if I need to and make jokes with my sister without disturbing anyone else.

I love audience involvement with action movies. Applause after a good fight scene or car chase always makes me smile! In fact when I saw the Avengers 2 the entire audience gasped at once during a certain scene.
