Saving Money Can Be Hard Sometimes!

Ugh Words cannot express my dilemma with trying to save money while raising three kids. I tried my best to cut out alot of things in order to save money and even stay home on weekends instead of going out and spending. The minute I have a few dollars saved up, something comes up and I have to break the bank. Last month I managed to save over 300 USD wich isnt much but when you have bills and everyday expenses like gas, food, and lunch money, every dollar counts. Soo a few days later my cousin called me by surprise to pick her up at the airport and I ended up spending about 200 dollars that weekend going out to local resort for 2 days. How can I save like this?

I find it harder to save with the economic situation these days. I think it needs a change in lifestyle, somehow? I don't know. My family and I like eating out especially on weekends so we're trying to reduce that to save.

You can rope in your children to help you in saving money. You can make it into a game, such as giving them stickers or stars for saving money, eg switch off the light etc. I wonder why you have to spend $200 on local resort for 2 days when your cousin comes to visit. She should be the one who spends it, not you.

I do agree that it is hard to save money sometimes. I think I amgetting a hndle on saving, then something happens to put a monkey wrench into the works. I hated it when I had to replace a water heater in my rental, but it had to be done as it was leaking. Money I didn't have either.

I hate unforeseen things that creep up. They do get in the way of saving money. I think the best way to go is budgeting. That way, you don't spend the money that is being saved.

saving money
I also do agree that it is very hard to save money not only sometimes. I particular me all the times..... Whenever I plans to save money,...... unexpectedly then something happens to spend money for some other actions.... To say cleanly.....Money saving is time saving...... What others responds?....
