Today in the near dinner time my elder one insisted to have some snacks like chips and juices etched .I am too against of snacks at the time of dinner .in my opinion no snacks intake when it's about to dinner.I yelled on her badly and she started screaming and crying.but I didn't,t noticed her and left her on her annoying condition rather than fulfilling her demand.

It's helpless to yell at children. You can ask her to eat it after dinner, or, I don't know how old she is, but maybe you can just establish a three-point rule between you and your children. For example: No snacks when having dinner; A reward if not crying in 3 hours or more hours. rules like that. I think it's effective. We'd better not always say to them with those don'ts or can'ts. You write this post, proving that you know that yelling at children is not right and useful. Just calm down and try some other means.

@amnabas I can understand, and you are a kind father. You felt guilty after yelling at your daughter. People occasionally will lose their temper, but we should make our best to control our bad feelings in front of children. Just try to comfort her and apologize to her while teaching her.

Sometimes children have to hear the word NO and there is nothing wrong with that word. She will get over it.
