I've been in the company for 3 years already. How do you ask for a raise in the right proper way?

My jobs have always had set wage brackets - negotiating my own salary or asking for a raise has never been an option for me.

They don't show the wage brackets for employees in our company. I wish there was more support on us.

Have your jobscope changed during the three years of work? If yes, you can ask for raise by saying that you are doing more than ever, and you are happy to take on more work for more pay. If they do not agree, you can start searching for job that pays much higher salary.

Yeah. The job scope changed. There was a raise but for me it is not proportional to the amount of work that I do. I am shy of asking for a greater raise. Sometimes also the work that they give me I dont like anymore.

Thats my problem also. I dont know when is the right time to find for another work. I keep on doing good in my job and hope that the company will deal with its employees better. I am still hoping for a change.
