I really should be grateful to Bill O'Reilly. I was experiencing another bout of complete creative bankruptcy---I couldn't think of anything to write about. Not a single thing. Then, as you kids say: BOOM! I saw this: Bill O'Reilly Is Sure America Has No Hungry Children Hence, Bill O'Reilly!!! Volume II. Now all I have to do is figure out a way to make it different enough from Bill O'Reilly!!! Volume I to keep my Editor-In-Chief from accusing me of just doing a rerun. Don't panic. I can do this. God wouldn't have put me in the drivers seat if He thought I was just going to drive the whole thing into a brick wall. If that were a danger, He would have made you the driver. But no. You can relax. Sit back and enjoy the ride. You can even have a drink if you want. Because God loves you. Unless you're in my Beloved Conservative Base. Because that means you're just like Bill O'Reilly and...Well, there's no way to sugar-coat this, so I'll just say it. God hates you. It's not the first time I've said that. That would have been on July 21, 2015: How Did You Make God Hate You So Much? And now the answer is more clear than ever, thanks to Bill. And this is one time when you can't really blame God. What did you think would happen if you totally ignored the teachings of Jesus and then made things worse by blaming the poor for being poor? And then make things even worse than that by claiming that there are no starving kids in America? Did you think that God would reward you for that? You ought to consider yourself lucky that you're getting off so easy. All that's happening to you is that everything you think, feel and believe is crumbling to dust under your feet. Oh, and people like me are brutally insulting you and making fun of you...I still don't understand how that can be a big deal but to many of you, it is. Look at the Bible. You could have been drowned or turned into a pillar of salt or you could have been plagued with locusts. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. God vents His anger in all kinds of inventive ways. And all you got was a plague of Liberals that is eroding your belief systems to unrecognizable microscopic particles. Over a long period of time. And there's absolutely nothing you can do about it. You're not getting any help, either, because all your desperate prayers for help are falling on deaf ears. Much like the damned souls in an upper level of Dante's inferno, you are doomed. Though nothing really bad is happening to you. Except for the long time you have to endure watching the rest of the world destroying what you think is the way the world should be. Personally, I wish God would hate you a little less so He would just smite you quickly because slowly torturing you is very costly for the rest of us here. Some kids are even starving to death because of it. And while you're still swirling around the drain, the rest us can just do what we can do to minimize the disastrous results of your policies that are still in place. We can feel good about some things. Like saving some kids from starvation and finally winning the fight for Marriage Equality and knowing that the entire war will one day be won. While trying to not get too down about all the things we still have to wait for. And one of the few fun things we get out of it is the many opportunities to shout things like, " YOU, Bill O'Reilly!!!" Full Disclosure: I do not now nor have I ever believed that there is in fact a God. But I don't see how that matters a bit in relation to this one. If, however, the mention of God as a real thing bothers you, just substitute Karma for it. If you don't believe in Karma, just suspend your disbelief already!
