is it important for you to be right?

my girlfriend starts a conversation and tells me something that doesn't sound factual so I tell her that I don't think it happened that way. she then goes on and on saying she is right until I have to look up things to prove im right by which time she wants to drop the whole thing instead of being proved wrong. of course I'm the bad guy for doing this "all the time"

For some people yeah, it's always important for them to be right. I usually don't drag it further and just leave it at that (and secretly look it up later to prove to myself that I'm right, ha.)
