What is your opinion on homosexuality?

When it comes to homosexuality, I believe that God loves us enough to give us freedom of choices. Homosexuality is a sin and God gives us the choice to choose what we follow. If homosexuals want to follow God, they can't do that, but if they don't then that is their decision. As long as they don't try to change my belief than I won't change what they believe if they do not desire it. They are a person and I'm a person. We all get the right to choose our own viewpoint on benefits and consequences of our actions. ^_^

As a Christian, I follow Jesus's teachings on homosexuality. Among those teachings: Judge not, that ye be not judged (Matthew 7). Love your neighbor as yourself (Mark 12). It is interesting that Jesus himself was entirely silent on homosexuality per se. I think a kind, non-judgmental homosexual has a greater chance of entering the Kingdom of Heaven than an unkind, judgmental heterosexual.

I do not see how a condition that is not chosen can be a "sin" or immoral in any way. You are born with your brain wired one way or the other - straight or gay, and there is nothing wrong with being one or the other.
My brain is so wired that I am left-handed. I cannot help it - that is just the way I am. There was a time when people thought that this was a fault, and children were often forced to write with their right hand. The English languge reflects this belief - the word "sinister" comes from the Latin for "left".
People have made the mistake of equating homosexuality with sin because of a very few Biblical verses that have been interpreted as implying divine condemnation. However, the Bible also contains verses that display complete ignorance of all sorts of things - mental illness is a good example. There are many supposed sins in the Bible that nobody bothers about today - so why such a fuss about homosexuality?
It would not surprise me if somebody disciovered verses that condemned left-handedness as well!
