I get to do laundry

I got ahold of an appliance repair guy, and older retired type gentleman. He fixed my washer. When I bought it, the girl that sold it said it was working when she unplugged it, and that her dad said it needed a belt. Supposedly she had priced the belt with someone I know. I do not want to be mean but either she is an absolute air head or a liar. This machine is direct drive, and has no belts. It is fixed and only cost $69 dollars to fix. I only paid fifty for the machine. In addition, I have mowed the lawn this morning. We will go to McPherson this afternoon and I will take my sister shopping at Wal Mart and get her a vacuum. We will get to go to the granddaughter's last volley ball game tonight. I have a full day every day.

I do take the time to sit and look at the empty field across from me, and wave at everyone who drives past.

I will be unpacking forever and doing the laundry that got behind while we were moving. I am going to a fun thing tomorrow. There is a lady in town who trained with Julia Child and once a month she has a cooking with herbs class.

Yes, repair people are expensive. This was an elderly man who is just doing a bit to keep busy.

@GardenGerty That is one of those things we judt cannot do without, I cannot imagine having to go to a laundry mat or something these days, although I used to before we had any kids.

Glad your washer is fixed. We almost had to replace ours a while back but my husband was able to rig something to make it work. The little switch that says the lid is closed broke so it couldn't tell if the lid was open or not.
