Buy or Make a Painted Pumpkin?

Painted pumpkins seem to be the hot Halloween decoration around here. Mostly they are selling for $9.99. Would you buy it or make it yourself? I don't have the pumpkin or the markers, so it would cost me a lot more than that. I also have a feeling that mine wouldn't be so pretty.
How about you. Would you buy or make them. Perhaps you don't like them at all! That's cool.

@rahulvsmokiee Everything is very expensive here. People think Americans make so much money, but when you look at the cost of living, we don't.

I think it would be a great craft for kids. The pumpkins would also last a lot longer.
