Now I will consider the visa at first. If it is easier to apply for a visa, then I will consider it will be my travel destination. Of course the airplane tickets is another important factor to think about. In fact I am considering where we shall go next year. Hopefully the visa will be easier at that time.

Perhaps here the inflation is serious and many things price keep higher and higher. Compare to it, it seems traveling abroad is not so expensive. Hard to believe that an ice-cream in a fantastic department stores in Moscow is even cheaper than in my country.

@wiLLmaH Lol! is that a factor? Even we can make money by having some illegal doings. I only want good money. Else i would been rich by now if i joined my friends. Being good is difficult , but being bad is simple.

I decide by price and scenery. Practicality rules my decisions and how enjoyable it will be.

Americans are very lucky because they can travel to many countries without applying to the visas.

@youless Oh..I did not know this. I can travel to UK and Republic of Ireland, Sicily, because of my heritage, live and work there no visa needed.

I have not been to any foreign country so I am not sure which is required first visa or air tickets. My little knowledge tells me that I need to buy air tickets at the first instance and thereafter, I should apply for Visa. I wish to visit Paris or US in the near future.

You know it is less expensive to buy airplane tickets in advance. However, usually the visa valid time is about 3 months. And sometimes I am worried to buy the airplane tickets at first but fail to apply for the visa. And it will lead to a loss because I can't refund the airplane tickets.

At present applying for a visa is still complicated for us. I checked your profile and I learned you come from Singapore. Actually we just went to Singapore in July this year and we all loved it. I will go there for a travel in the future because we didn't have enough time to travel all around Singapore yet!

Usually you don't need a visa just to go on a vacation or visit a place for a short time. We spent a month backpacking around Europe and no visas were needed, just our passports. For us, because we had friends scattered across the continent, the trip wasn't too terribly expensive. The flight was the worst part of it.

Mine have been package tours. I have been on a US package tour, Bangkok, Singapore, Europe tour, NZ and Australia and have been to many States in my own country. Nothing like choosing - just a craving to see places.

I usually check the place that is good for the family and will fit to my budget. I also consider location, and duration of travel.

I decide where to go based on how much it'll cost to travel and stay there. I also do some research to see if there's anything worth seeing there. Shopping is nice, but I wouldn't want to do that during my whole vacation. I prefer to see some tourist or historical sites when I visit places.
