Look out Texas

United States

Not only has Texas been getting rained on extremely hard the last few days, there is no end in sight. As of today they will be getting what's left of Hurricane Patricia. I was watching the Weather Channel and they said there is a possibility of at least 4 inches of rain per hour. Holy Cow! We have had days when we received 3 or 4 inches of rain in an hour, but it only lasted an hour. But to get that much rain over many hours means a lot of devastation. Stay safe all of you slit in the patch of Hurricane Patricia.

I am so grateful that I live in a part of the world that normally does not have extreme weather conditions like Tornadoes and hurricanes. I hope that the power of this particular hurricane fizzles out before too much damage is done.

I think once we see photos of Mexico we'll be shocked at the damage.

I have to wonder what Tyler's numbers were, haven't been able to find a solid track of how much we've gotten

We keep two rain gauges in the yard and we found out our numbers are always higher than the weatherman gives for this area.

@AbbyGreenhill Ours certainly were, only judging by the wading pool that was empty and then overflowing.
