Romans 15:7 Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God. When I think about my life, and those of my acquaintances who expressed the same about being rejected by people in their lives, it's good to know our Heavenly Father will never reject us, but loves us and wants to have a personal relationship with us. There is nothing we can ever say or do that will cause Him to take His love away from us. In the same way we are to treat one another. Accept them for who they are, and not what you expect them to be. So often I've seen shows or been around people who expect their children to be like them or do certain things with their lives they didn't have an opportunity to do, negating their children from having a life of their own. God does have a plan for our lives, but it's up to us to follow the plan. He will never push or shove us to do anything we don't want to do. Yet, I find His plans are always something I want to do anyway, and it doesn't interfere with my wants and wishes. When we accept each other for who they are, we will find peace and joy in our lives. It would be wonderful if that happened. I know my life would have been different if my parents had accepted me for who I am. Mom even chose my electives in high school.

We should except people for who they are and not try and change them.
