Apart from the health benefits like lowering of cholesterol, high-blood pressure etc, Puer Tea is one tea that taste better with time. It is amazing how this tea evolves as it ages. When the tea is new, it's light in colour, it taste bitter, with it's flowery aroma and the strong taste. As a Puer Tea evolves with time, according to it's substance inside itself, environment; it evolves to another kind of texture, dark in colour, smooth, a reserved scent of aged wood, subtle taste. It is like us, when we are young we are bold, creative and vibrant but somehow still lack a kind of feeling which only comes with time and experience. As we mature, we are shaped by our inner self, our attitude and experiences which makes us wiser, more attractive, at peace. As Puer Tea is stored through the ages, it is affected by the external factors like the humidity, temperature, cleanliness of the place of storage but ultimately it has to be made properly with good tea leaves or the best conditions given would produce a good aged Puer Tea. It shows us as people, we have to be strong in our values, attitude in regardless of the hardships and in the end we will become much wiser, impartial to difficulties. It is very wonderful to imagine how a piece of aged Puer Tea survived history and taste so good after going through so much and it reflects to us, we can too turn out to be wonderful people who survived hardships in this ever changing world. The above reasons are why I choosed Puer Tea amongst other tea. Everytime I drink an aged Puer Tea, it overwhelmes me with amazement of it's history, it's wonderful texture. A new Puer Tea inspires me of it's possibilities, potential. What other tea could give this kind of sensations? Every tea means differently to every person, for me right now, Puer Tea touches me. So what is yours?
