Happy Halloween!

This is my first post on this site - I was told all about it by Phoenixmaid and I thought I would come over and take a look.
Today is Halloween - have you got much planned? We are going trick or treating from 5pm onwards before going to our local firework display at 7pm to watch the fireworks and then visit the fair. It is going to be a fun day!

Halloween kicks off the "holiday season" consisting also of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. There's a chill in the air but a warmth in the personal relations among friends, family, and even strangers.
This is why Halloween is great.
One upturn that can be noticed in the grocery stores is that mixed in with the giant bags of snack-sized sweets, you can find something a little different. Even though pretzels take a back seat to real health foods, a treat-size bag of pretzels can be a little surprise mixed in with all the chocolate and sugary stuff the dentists keep warning about.
Halloween is great. It's a time to see and greet your neighbors and their kids. Happy Halloween!

We are going up town to see whats happening up there then trickortreating after tea then off to see family :) have a great night :D
