Hubby carved one Jack O Lantern about a week ago. I guess our house is a tad too warm. Jack had to be escorted out onto the deck in a hurry cause he was puddling up and making a mess of the dining room table.
We have a good sized and a medium pumpkin left. I plan to use some of their meat for pies or breads. The birds will probably eat their innards.
Do you do anything with pumpkins besides using them for eerie lights or tossing and rolling down the road?

You recall how I loved to carve pumpkins. I didn't get one this year because there's little point to it. I have roasted pumpkin seeds, that's fun to do - one of these times maybe I'll cook some pumpkin flesh for empanadas. I love empanadas... they have some fun looking gourds/pumpkins/squash at the local stores right now.
