A Great Way To Start Each Day

Fall Everywhere

Just a few moments in the mornings, when I get up, just before the noise of the world surrounds me. I just sit still and talk to my Savior. My soul quiet, waiting to be filled, in the hush of dawn listening for my Savior’s voice. I let His peace, that is beyond all earthly understanding, flood my soul. I am confident in the knowledge that all is going according to plan. His plan. Only then will I be able to face whatever the world pitches at me. All the noise, all the confusion, disappointment, worry, and pain. And I stand in His strength, able to say, All is well with Him and me and the World.

That is certainly a great way to start each and everyday. I read my Bible before I start my day, as I must have the filling of his word to make my day go better. I love the Lord so much, that I want to read about him more and more. It seems that the day goes better when you put Jesus first.

@rosekiss (16166, you are so correct. I feel the very same way. If I should by some chance forget to tell My Lord Good morning and thank Him and praise His name, I feel so guilty when I realize I forgot. I try to never forget, but sometimes circumstance wakes you up and throws you out of your routine. But I am working on always remembering. Bless you My sweet friend.

@tuttiharris Thank you. I am having financial problems right now, but I know that the Lord will bless me, and that things will get better. I don't know what I would do without him, as he is my rock, and my fortress. If I didn't have the Lord, my life would be so incomplete.

@amnabas.Yes, it is great. My day always goes so much better, and I know God is in my corner because I spoke to Him the first thing in the morning, and also do my devotion in the mornings and before I go to bed. I love it. Blessings my sweet friend.

It is a great way to start the day, just to be grateful for our gifts and aware of his love.
