This is November?

I just checked the weather forecast and it's 65F outside. According to the calendar we're in November, but the temps are more like spring and early summer. Now as much as I love winter, I'll take this warm weather as long as possible. I have a furnace that needs fixing and am not looking forward to a cold house in winter. I'm waiting for more information to come in the mail. I called Social Services on Monday and they said I still needed to give them more info. So it's warm today. How is it by you? Thanks for reading.

It's about 12C but I'm not sure I can translate that into F. It's certainly far too warm in our office - I'm used to not putting the heating on at home and I'm melting at my desk.

I agree, we still need to chop more wood before it gets cold and yucky

I have seen quite a few posts today on how warm it is for this time of year - looks like much of the Northern hemisphere is affected

I wonder if this is what they mean by global warming.

It was about 10 degrees warmer here today. I'm not complaining, like you said, this IS November and days like this are limited. Let's all enjoy it while we can!

I am seriusly looking at a propane power free heater in case the power goes out, and a few smaller electric ones, so we can have a bit of extra heat in the room we are in, but not spend it heating rooms we dont use as much, could keep the house much cooler then

As long as it doesn't up your electric bill it sounds like a good way to go.

@just4him well since we could keep the heat lower all over, I think, if we get an energy efficient one, we should be good.

Today and tomorrow it's better than that, as it's in the mid seventies. I heard we'd have a colder weekend and then back in that temp range again next week, but I think the person that told me was dreaming or something. I checked the weather myself and it looks like it'll be dropping to the fifties this weekend and staying put there for the next ten days or so. That's still considerably warmer than normal for us too. I'm with you. I have to work outside some until we end for the season, and it's nice to not have to wear six layers to keep warm. Anything to save on some heat.

I also checked the ten day forecast and it's in the 50s. Still unseasonably warm.

I hope you will hear from them soon because you will need the furnace soon.

Yes I will. For something that's supposed to be coming in the mail, it's taking it's time to get here.
